中井 芳滝（1841〜1899)

江戸末期から明治時代に大阪で活躍した浮世絵師である。上方役者絵や美人画、風景画など様々な作品を手掛けている。

同時期に同じく大阪で活躍をしていた五粽亭広貞（Hirosada Gosotei）とともに上方浮世絵師の双璧として評されていた。

一養斎芳滝（Yoshitaki Ichiyosai）、歌川芳滝（Yoshitaki Utagawa）などの画号でも知られており、上方最後の浮世絵師とも称されている。

江戸時代に京都や大坂を含む関西地方を呼んだ名前。

天皇の住む都・京都を「上」と呼んで、

政治の中心地である江戸の古代の経済と文化の中心地を指す。

Yoshitaki Nakai（1841〜1899)

He was an ukiyo-e artist who was active in Osaka from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. He has worked on a variety of works such as upper actor paintings, beauty paintings, and landscape paintings.

At the same time, along with Hirosada Gosotei, who was also active in Osaka, he was described as the twin of the Kamigata*1 ukiyo-e artists.

He is also known for his paintings such as Yoshitaki Ichiyosai and Yoshitaki Utagawa, and is also known as the last ukiyo-e artist in Kamigata*1.

*1 about Kamigata :

The name that called the Kansai region including Kyoto and Osaka in the Edo period.

It was used to refer to the capital Kyoto where the emperor lived, as "above", and was used

to refer to the ancient economic and cultural center of Edo, the center of politics.

中井義瀧（1841-1899）

江戶末期至明治時期活躍於大阪的浮世繪師。 曾創作上方演員畫、美女畫、山水畫等多種作品。

他與同時活躍於大阪的廣定御所亭並稱為上方浮世繪的兩大巨匠。

他也被稱為一葉齋義瀧和歌川義瀧，據說是上方最後一位浮世繪藝術家。
