小野 小町（おの の こまち、生没年不詳）は、平安時代前期9世紀頃の女流歌人。世界三大美女の一人。小野小町の詳しい系譜は不明である。彼女は絶世の美女として七小町など数々の逸話があり、後世に能や浄瑠璃などの題材としても使われている。だが当時の小野小町像とされる絵や彫像は現存せず、後世に描かれた絵でも後姿が大半を占め、素顔が描かれていない事が多い。

ONO no Komachi (years of birth and death unknown) was a female poet who lived around the 9th century in the early Heian period. She is one of the three most beautiful women in the world. The detailed genealogy of ONO no Komachi is unknown. There are many anecdotes about her as a peerless beauty, such as Nanakomachi, and it has been used as the theme for Noh and Joruri plays in later generations. However, there are no paintings or statues of Ono no Komachi at that time, and most of the paintings drawn in later years show her from behind, and her true face is often not depicted.
